Benefits of consuming oats

Natural oat drink
Oats are rich in plant fiber with numerous benefits for our digestive and cardiovascular health.

Oats are one of the most consumed cereals in the world. Its high nutritional value distinguishes it from other cereals, as it contains more protein and fiber. Among its many advantages it is important to highlight:

  • Digestive diseases : it is an excellent regulator of intestinal transit thanks to its high content of soluble and insoluble fibers. Its consumption is recommended in case of gastritis, acidity and hemorrhoids, as it protects the digestive mucous membranes. Furthermore, the soluble fiber has a prebiotic action that protects the intestinal flora.
  • Purifying of the gallbladder : the consumption of oats can help to detach the bile salts from digestion, thus favoring their elimination by means of the faeces and the purification of the gallbladder. This prevents the formation of gallstones and colic.
  • Cardiovascular diseases : oat fiber reduces the absorption of cholesterol thanks to its entrainment action, thus regulating cholesterol levels and blood pressure. Its low fat content also makes it a heart-healthy food.
