Uses of alum stone
It can be purchased in pharmacies or natural product stores, in “natural” or “synthetic” version. Of course, we recommend that you buy the natural potassium sulphate mineral (KAl 3 (SO 4 ) 2 (OH) 6 ).
It is a salt of volcanic origin obtained from a magmatic rock. Being a natural product derived from a potassium feldispate, it is normal for each stone to have a slightly different color and texture. Do not worry!
1. Use the alum stone as a deodorant
The most common use of this mineral is its deodorant properties. There are now many people who have completely replaced industrial deodorants with this 100% natural option.
The alum stone is an excellent product with low amounts of aluminum, which is not just since several studies have associated the use of deodorants containing this chemical element with breast cancer.
Like estrogen, aluminum appears to promote the growth of cancer cells, leading to the development of breast cancer. However, there are no reliable data in this regard.

If you have canker sores, you can calm the discomfort with the alum stone. To do this, prepare a solution by diluting two tablespoons of powdered alum in a cup of water and rinsing your mouth.

While the stretch marks won’t go away, alum can lighten them slightly. To do this you will need some alum crystals, soap and moisturizer.
Take a bath and lather the area to be treated. Apply the crystals on the stretch marks and leave to act for a few minutes. Rinse well and once dry moisturize the skin with a little cream.
7. Soothe the burning after hair removal
If it is possible to use the alum stone as an aftershave, the same applies to soothing the burning after hair removal, as well as redness and any other discomfort. Just pass the moistened stone on the depilated skin.
