  • 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g)

Preparation

  • Put the water to heat up; once it reaches a boil, add the oregano leaves and let them boil for a minute.
  • Turn off the heat and let them rest for a few more minutes.
  • At the end, strain the herbal tea and sweeten with honey.

Coriander herbal tea

Coriander tea has digestive properties that are useful  in case of diarrhea, constipation, difficult digestion and other digestive system disorders.

It also facilitates the gas elimination process, stimulates the nervous system and increases mental performance.

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 teaspoons of coriander seeds or leaves (15 g)
  • 2 cups of water (500 ml)

Preparation

  • Put the water to heat up; once it reaches a boil, add the coriander seeds or leaves and let them boil for 5 minutes.
  • Let them rest for another 3 or 4 minutes, then strain and serve in a cup.

 3. Epazote herbal tea, among the infusions to detoxify the digestive system

Epazote leaves

Epazote is a medicinal plant native to Mexico with a pungent and strongly aromatic flavor, traditionally used to treat parasites, colds and coughs.

4.  Dandelion and rosemary infusion

  • 2 tablespoons of dandelion (20 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of sarsaparilla root (20 g)
  • 4 cups of water (1 liter)
  • 2 tablespoons of rosemary (20 g)

Preparation

  • Boil the water in a saucepan. Add the three herbs, remove from the heat and let it rest for about ten minutes.
