Wash towels with 5 natural remedies

In this article we want to talk to you about how to wash towels so that they always remain soft and fragrant.

After a shower or a good warm bath, there is nothing better than wrapping our body with a clean and soft towel.

This accessory, which cannot be missing in our home, helps us to dry the skin before putting on clothes.

Yet, as towels are used, they accumulate dirt, bacteria and fungi that tend to proliferate when we leave them damp.

For this reason, they lose their absorbent capacity and, little by little, they begin to give off an unpleasant odor  that can only be eliminated by washing them.

The problem is that many of us don’t know how to do it right and can’t get them back clean and spotless.

Fortunately, there are several  natural methods we can use to have perfect and flawless towels again without the help of harsh chemicals present in most commonly available products.

Find out with us what they are!

By mixing baking soda with white wine vinegar, we will obtain an ecological detergent that we can use not only for washing towels and clothing, but also for cleaning different types of surfaces.

These are very cheap products that, in general, we all have at home, given the many uses we make of them both in terms of the preparation of dishes and recipes, and for personal care and hygiene.

When it comes to cleaning the house, baking soda and white wine vinegar are both considered excellent alternatives to chemicals, thanks to their whitening and antibacterial properties, as well as their ability to neutralize bad odors.

They also have another great advantage: they are great softeners, making them worthy substitutes for the common chemicals that are sold for that purpose.

  • Half a cup of baking soda (about 125 ml)
